This year’s event has a capacity of 85 swimmers only so be sure to register early! During registration, you can choose between a 1500 metre or a 750 metre distance.

Want to register a friend or two as well? No problem! At the end of your registration process and before payment information, the system will ask you if you would like to register another participant. You will need: full name, complete address, email, mobile #, desired event distance, estimated finish time, whether they wish to be on a team and team name, and any swag purchase requests.

As part of your registration, you can also choose to purchase a SwimBuddy, Limited Edition SwimBowen Beach towel, embroidered Baseball Cap, or Limited Edition BUFF!

Refund Policy SwimBowen is unable to accommodate any late check-ins on event day. SwimBowen event fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. SwimBowen reserves the right to reschedule or cancel events if water conditions are unsafe. SwimBowen reserves the right to refuse entry based on safety or health concerns.

Teams are limited to a maximum of 6 registrants.

Members of the same team can register for different distances.

How to Register as a team: Once in the “Team” section of registration, you will see team names. Choose “add this registrant to team” (your team name). Don’t see your team name? That means you are the first to register! It is your job to select “Create new team” from the menu. You will be prompted to key in your team name. Then voila - team members registering after you will see your team and will choose “Add this registrant to team (team name).

We are so grateful for everyone’s enthusiasm for SwimBowen - however, we have discontinued the waitlist policy. We have also discontinued the policy of opening spots when registrants cancel. It was massive amounts of work for our volunteer team to coordinate all this. Thanks for understanding!
